Katie Piper - Writer and TV Presenter

Many people know of Katie Piper and the horrific acid attack, which left her with permanent scars and injuries. Since the attack, Katie has strived to be a positive and inspirational force - continuously raising awareness to victims with burns and other disfigurement injuries by being open and honest in her own journey to recovery, releasing TV shows, books and an established charity The Katie Piper Foundation. Her work continues with L’Oreal and Princes Trust’s initiative to empower young people to recognise their self-worth.

Nalie Agustin - Blogger

 

At the age of 24 Nalie Agustin was diagnosed with breast cancer and struggled to find support for young women in her situation. Nalie released an e-journal compiled of tips and stories from 50 cancer survivors aged 24-42 and has since campaigned to make others aware of the symptoms of breast cancer and hosts “The Nalie Show” on youtube every week. Nalie found out she was cancer free in July 2014 but the cancer has returned this year and she is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment. We admire her positivity and strength - she is a true inspiration. Keep going girl

 

Fearne Cotton - TV Presenter

 

Fearne supports many charities including CoffaFeel!, Macmillan Cancer Support, Children in Need and Red Nose Day and has helped to raise millions. She is a strong female character. She presents on both TV and radio, and in many TV campaigns, whilst juggling being a mum and a wife. Recently Fearne admitted in her latest book that she had previously suffered depression and we salute her honesty and bringing awareness to the subject.

 

Shalom Blac – Youtube blogger

 

Shalom and her little sister were burned with hot oil at nine years old when she lived in Nigeria as a child.  Shalom moved to America and was bullied to the point where she has suicidal thoughts. Now Shalom has become an Internet sensation with over 100,000 Youtube subscribers, and 6 million views thanks to her makeup tutorials and speaking out about her story, she has inspired and helped other burn victims.
